Subject: Urgent Appeal for Support Following a Fire Disaster at Our Community School* Dear my Royal Leaders and friends. I, Lekoko Piniel Ole Lepilal, the Managing Director of the Maasai Cultural Tourism Festival, would like to inform you of a fire incident that occurred at our only school in the ward last night. By the grace of God, the students were in night classes at the time. Therefore, no lives were lost in the fire that destroyed two of our students' dormitories. As the Maasai Cultural Tourism Festival, we have a duty and responsibility to fulfill our commitment to Community Social Responsibility - CSR. We are therefore humbly appealing for your support, both in kind and in cash, as individuals and as institutions, to enable us to return the children to school. They are currently in preparation for their national examinations in October. We only have two months left before these students sit for their final exams. However, they have now returned home, and the distance from their homes to school ranges from 4 to 7 kilometers, depending on where their parents live. Items Needed: 1. DOUBLE DECKER METAL BEDS: 36 Pieces 2. MATTRESSES 3FT X 6FT: 100 Pieces 3. BLANKETS: 100 Pieces 4. BEDSHEETS: 100 Pieces 5. EXERCISE BOOKS: 600 Pieces 6. MOSQUITO NETS: 50 Pieces 7. STUDENT UNIFORMS: 77 Sets 8. RENOVATION of the Two Dormitories that were Burned The total estimated cost for all these items is TZS 80 Million, equivalent to USD 50,000. We do not expect to receive everything at once. However, you can contribute little by little as from 50 usd (one mattres), 100 usd for uniforms as an individual, a friend or as an institution you can sponsor two or more items according to their capacity and love for these Maasai children, we will be deeply grateful. We kindly request all of you to support the Maasai Cultural Tourism Festival in any way you can, so that we can lend a hand and help these children return to school. Thank you very much.
